Compact Chisels

BeaverCraft is rather proud of the amount and variety of different compact chisels that we provide. The thing is: the more portable and compact the tool is, the better. Surely, some carvers don’t need that too much since they only carve in their workshop or some other place designated specifically for their hobby time. However, some people go out to the woods all of the time and carve there while taking a break from the hike. Some people like to carve while on a long trip somewhere. You may want to participate in a carving competition and you’ll certainly want to grab only the best tools there are with you.

That’s why having at least some small tools in your arsenal that’ll help you out with the sudden inspiration wave that caught you somewhere else. They will also be useful if you like challenges and enjoy creating small details on small workpieces. All in all, you can find quite a few purposes for compact chisels, so it’s not a bad idea to have one or two ready.

Compact Chisels Variety

There are, of course, quite a lot of different options when it comes to chisels and gouges, and BeaverCraft here is not an exception. What we have on offer is straight flat chisels, straight rounded chisels, long bent chisels and straight v-profile chisels – anything for any taste. The choice is up to you and depends completely on your preference and needs, however, chisels are definitely a tool that you want if you want to create patterns and fine details.

They are also a required tool if you want to simplify the carving process for yourself – chisels basically can execute anything a knife can, but they also add a twist to it by being smaller, thinner and practically more useful when it comes to narrow places, angles and so on. Nobody wants you to purchase the tools you won’t need, but that’s certainly not the case with chisels.

Small Chisels from BeaverCraft – pros and cons

The thing with BeaverCraft is we do our best to keep the prices affordable and the quality worth it. Being an enthusiastic carver’s pair firstly and an entrepreneur after, we want to make sure carving is easy and understandable for people. So we contribute to that as much as we can with the tutorials, guides, tools and beginner kits.

Small chisels that we make are ergonomic, light, pre-sharpened before packaging and made out of carbon steel and wooden shafts, thus hold the edge better and longer than other steel and don’t make your hands tired as fast. We know what is going to be comfortable for you and what – not so much, so we put those thoughts into our work to create the best tools possible.

Straight V-Profile Chisels and other detailing instruments

Compact chisels like these will never become outdated. Yes, they may be replaced with other tools like knives and so on, but the effect they have on the wood and the gorgeous result that you see right after will never be lost in time. Make sure you try carving with chisels if you haven’t yet because it will be worth your while. And if you are willing to try, BeaverCraft welcomes you into the world of carving with chisels with open arms and great tools to use!
