The only thing that I dislike is the green compound it could be a little better, but then again, I don’t know much about leather strapping. It just takes a while for the compound to get into the leather. You really have to rub it in other than that it’s great. I got my knives razor-sharp within minutes.. thanks for your craft

I have been looking for a leather strop that is not attached to a cheap piece of wood for a little while now and I think i found the perfect one. It seems that you need to shop outside of Canada occasionally to find the things you want as they are not always available. Very happy with the strop.

Definitely happy with the product.

I purchased this product to sharpen woodcarving knives and tools. I'm new to woodcarving and more explicit instructions on what side of strop to apply polishing compound and how much and how to apply the compound would have helped.

Premier strop acheté, le cuir est de très bonne qualité. Bien qu'odorant au départ.La pâte à polir est très bien, un peu compliqué à étaler à froid (côté croûte), mais avec un sèche cheveux ça s'étale très bien.Testé sur plusieurs couteau, le couteau est poli miroir en quelques passage.Je l'utilise après avoir aiguiser mes couteaux sur ma pierre à eau japonaise. Cela permet d'enlever le morfil et de polir le tranchant pour une coupe rasoir.Je recommande pour se lancer dans l'affûtage.

Learning how and why apply the compound,was my only hurdle,3 days later and there is'nt a dull knife in my house(lol) now I ordered the paddle version too,I am hooked on this whole world of stropping.5 STARS !!
