2. Keep your tools dry
Moisture is the enemy of any metal tool, and wood carving tools are no exception. After cleaning your tools, dry them thoroughly before storing them. If your tools are not dry, they may rust, which can cause the blades to become dull and potentially dangerous to use. Our tools are made of high-carbon steel that can rust if not cared for properly. If the tool is rusted, you can restore its original appearance by removing the rust with a fine sander, then polishing it with a polishing paste on a felt circle or manually with a piece of leather.
