It is awesome that you can get such a high quality knife for $36. I can't comment on the durability since I just bought it, but the build quality seems very nice. Excellent fit and finish, and it is good and sharp. High quality sheath made of thick leather, also.
This knife is so well-balanced and comfortable. It’s such a beautiful design and a sharp blade. I got the first one for my husband, and bought this one to give my brother. Everything I get from this company is outstanding. I highly recommend any of their products.
My first knife had mismatch scale handles. They were smaller than the hilt. It left a ridge. I made a review about the issue. Ana at BeaverCraft contacted me and sent a replacement. The new knife is perfect! Very honorable Company and service!
Can’t have too many knives! Good handle grip. The handle is made of sturdy wood. The blade is sturdy too, not thin metal but forged of a thicker grade.
I like this knife! Is it made with a super steel? No. Is the fit and finish perfect? No. Is it a great value for $35? Absolutely! It came sharp out of the box and the scandi grind makes it easy to sharpen. It has stood up fine to batoning so far. I also really like the handle design. It is comfortable enough near the edge to carve with, and the swell at the pommel makes it a surprisingly good chopper for the size and weight. Well worth giving it a shot!
The knife is a pleasant surprise. While mine was not sharp when out of the box and needed to be sharpened, it is sturdy and durable. It is a full tang blade, and the wood on the handle actually feels quite nice, and it looks wonderful. The holster is fine as well, it works fine.
I like the length of it. Very useful for bushcraft, camping ,fishing ,hunting ,or anything else you would a well made knife for.
This knife is beautiful and very sharp. The handle itself was a little rough feeling, so I did some slight sanding with 1500 grit paper to give it a nice feel. This is of course optional but made the knife feel complete with this addition.
I live next to a forest. During my breaks at work, I like to hike in my forest to experience nature. In my forest, there are a lot of vines and other plants that I need to cut through. I ordered this knife to help me navigate the forest. The knife is designed well from its blade to the handle. It fits well in my hand and feels sturdy. I like that it comes with a sheath. The sheath easily attaches to my belt.I tested this knife by going for a hike. I was able to saw through various vines and thorns. The knife made getting through the forest easier.
